Is Whattaker worth it?
08/05/07 In the Sheffield Star by Mr Pete Evans, a letter from a disgruntled 'older' fan:
"How long can this club tolerate having Whittaker on its books? When I was a lad you arranged the appendix op for the morning(no anaesthetic), played footy in the afternoon and then went and did your 12 hour shift down the pit.
And I'm told he drinks fancy girlie ciders!"
Can this club tolerate such girlish behaviour?
The Whinge with the Twinge
26/04/07 Again, spotted in the Sheffield Star by Mr Pete Evans, a report by that anonymous roving reporter:
"Dan Preston is accused of trying to attain hero status by emailing everyone to inform them that he is still playing even though he has the 'manliest of all twinges'. So he gets my vote for not only MOTM but also MOT Century.
Can this club tolerate such prima donna behaviour?".
Footy match makes local paper
20/04/07 Spotted in the Sheffield Star by Mr Pete Evans, a letter sent in by an anonymous lights fan:
"I've just returned from the Concord Stadium and I felt I had to put pen to paper to describe an unbelievable display by the mighty Lights. I hope the Darks have been applying plenty of cream to their sore anuses after the biggest arseholeing I've ever witnessed".
